This weekend I was persuaded to go and see Interstellar at the cinema. I was extremely reluctant. I'd seen a couple of trailers and was not really sure if it was an apocalyptic movie or a crazy space travel film. Turns out it was both.

I love Christopher Nolans films, Inception and the Batman movies were brilliant. I just honestly don't know what this film was about. There seemed to be some crazy sub-plot about the government making up space travel, then 10 minuets later Matthew McConaughey sets of on his rocket. The government were not really mentioned after that. Didn't the whole town see the Rocket launch?

It was very confusing. There also seemed to be a massive food shortage but we didn't actually see any starving people...

I think they saved the planet at the end of the film... but I'm not really sure how many people ended up on the floating tube thingy that just reminded me of the Leonardo Dicaprio and Ellen Page Inception scene...

I'm left extremely disappointed and would not recommend.
