The British Independent Film Awards (Bifas) will be awarding Cumberbatch with a Bifa Film Honour for helping "focus the international spotlight on the UK". I think this is excellent news! More and more British films are receiving world wide attention and Cumberbatch is most certainly contributing. I think he is a marvelous actor who hasn't been stolen by Hollywood but returns time and time again to star in independent films.
