From the 007 films, to Matthew Vaughn's 2015 Kingsman (which offers a new, tongue-in-cheek, hyper-violent take on the classic spy movie), it often seems as if the antics of big-screen secret agents must be a lot more colourful than those of their real life counterparts. But if the authentic spy gadgets below are anything to go by, real life (especially Cold War-era real life) could be every bit as bizarre as anything dreamt up by a Hollywood scriptwriter.
