That's; Ned Flanders, Mr Burns, Principal Skinner and Smithers! That's a crazy amount of character's in one hit. Its implied through Shearers tweets earlier today that he is leaving due to a fall out with producers over scheduling. I assume that The Simpsons will continue without him... but will it be the same?
The US actor, who voices Ned Flanders and Mr Burns, tweeted that signing up to a new series would have stopped him from doing other work. The actor seemed to signal his exit by claiming a lawyer for the executive producer said the show would "go on". In a follow-up tweet, Shearer mooted it was "because I wanted what we've always had: the freedom to do other work".
