When Kick Ass came out I though it was the best. Then the sequel came a couple of years later and it was... not so great. I don't know weather it was my age and humour that had changed or weather the film really was just no good. But a prequel based around Hit Girl... that could be fun! But surely that means that Chloe Grace Moretz will be too old for the part? She was the best thing about these movies can hit girl survive without her?
Matthew Vaughn plans to bring foul-mouthed pre-teen superhero Hit Girl back to the big screen in a prequel he hopes will restore fan fervour for more Kick-Ass films, according to Yahoo! Movies. Vaughn told the site he was “not happily done with the franchise” and felt looking backwards might be the best way to move forwards after 2013’s Kick-Ass 2 failed to find traction with critics or audiences.
