I ended up watching What We Do In The Shadows after trawling through Netflix one Sunday afternoon. It turned out to be one the best films I've watched on Netflix for a long time and probably one of the better films I'd seen in 2015. Set up as a mockumentary following the lives of house-mate vampires trying to get by in modern day New Zealand, the film revolves around the troubles the group has with the local werewolves along with simpler things such as house chores.
Now the Flight Of The Concords writer (Jemaine Clement) and director Taika Waititi are planning a werewolf centred sequel named 'We're Wolves' and I can't wait, will have to make sure I see this one in the Cinema instead of accidentally stumbling upon it on Netflix.
There was plenty of joyful swearwolving when we learned in August last year that What We Do In The Shadows co-directors Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi were planning a follow-up about the loony lycanthrope characters introduced in their vampire comedy. Now we know the film is tentatively titled We're Wolves.
