I am always a bit sceptical when I hear about a new Tim Burton film, I didn't think much of his version of Alice in Wonderland or even Dark Shaddows, but my inner teenage Tim Burton fan has hopes for his new film; Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children. Empire Online has given us a first sneak peak of the film, with some screen shots of the Peculiar Children themselves, and with a cast that surprisingly (but not unhappy about) is missing both Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter! In their place is still a star filled cast which includes the great Judi Dench, Eva Green, Samual L Jackson and Rupert Everett to name a few.
I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one, and I hope to see a trailer soon.
Tim Burton is a filmmaker who always seemed drawn towards the peculiar. So his latest movie, Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, strikes us as an ideal fit. Based on the book by Ransom Riggs, it's a typically Burtonesque tale of fantasy and intrigue, detailing a magical orphanage populated with mysterious children and shape-shifting protectors. Empire has an exclusive first look at the film.
