The sequel to The Shining, Doctor Sleep is being made into a film. There is no director attached yet, but we do know that Stephen King will be an executive producer.It will be interesting to see who they find to direct the film and how it will compare to Kubrick's 1980s version of The Shining.
The plot follows Danny Torrance years after the events in the Overlook Hotel as he suffers from the trauma of what happened to him and his family. He develops a psychic link to a 12-year-old girl who he must save after she gets involved with a sinister group of paranormals.
