I used to love Anastasia as a child, one of the only non-Disney animations that took over my childhood, its now being made into a musical for Broadway. Let's see if it makes it to London...

Anastasia is set for the Broadway musical treatment (via Variety), inspired by 20th Century Fox's 1997 animated film; an oddly cheerful adaptation of a notorious Russian legend in which the young Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna is said to have escaped death at the hands of the Bolshevik secret police on 17 July 1918. An adaptation which included a talking bat as the clumsy henchman of Rasputin himself. Of course.
