I recently tried out the free trial for Amazon Prime which included a 30 day subscription to their video service. So I decided to wizz through season 1 of Transparent which turned out to be pretty amazing. It stars Jeffrey Tambor as Maura who has just started to live life as a woman and her 3 grown up children, Ali (Gaby Hoffmann), Sarah (Amy Landecker) and Josh (Jay Duplass). I literally could not stop watching it. One of the best things about it was its soundtrack which I have had on loop since finishing season one.

The down side is that now that my Amazon Prime trail has run out I'm going to have to fork out the £79/year subscription fee just to watch Season 2 which comes out sometime in December.
